The Commons Cohort

April 2025 - October 2025

What is the Commons Cohort?

The Commons Cohort is a group of 6-8 women who are invited to share a common journey over approximately 6 months. Joining the Commons Cohort gives you access to a safe and warm community of like-minded women with whom you will explore a wide range of topics relevant to women’s climate leadership.  Each facilitated session provides a nurturing atmosphere to contemplate how you show up for different facets of your career and life through a process of inquiry as well as holding space for other women to share their own experiences.

  • Joining the Commons Cohort involves participating in a total of 6 in-person events held in and near the San Francisco Bay Area, including two daylong retreats and one overnight retreat. We will also hold three mixer events. Members are expected to commit fully to attending all events in person.

  • The 2025 cohort will run from April through October 2025. Applications are now closed for this cohort. The next cohort will run in 2026.

  • Members are charged only enough to cover expenses for events. The 2025 cohort fee is on a sliding scale from $850-1,000. This cost is all inclusive, including lodging and food for the overnight retreat. We encourage you to reach out to your employer to see if they can cover this expense under a “professional development” budget. Please reach out if you have financial concerns about participating.

    • Self-discovery through a variety of tools

    • Shadow work to allow for showing up from a deeper and more authentic place

    • Building unwavering strength in self

    • Visioning a future we can work towards together

    • Cultivating creativity and why it is important in our careers

    • What makes women unique as leaders

    • Skills for accelerating action and impact

  • The result of participation in the Commons Cohort is an expanded sense of yourself and your space in your career, radical honesty about the things that matter in your world, and a curated community of women who have held you and been held by you.
